so it's been a while, huh?

i've got a batch of interview questions i still need to deliver to some readers, so let this be my public apology for my lack of online-edness.

in the last month we've had lots of company, our marketing class to finish, and i'm finally getting over being really sick for the past 3.5 weeks! i haven't much felt like playing on the internet all that much, which can explain whey I haven't been around.

i prepped the house this morning for a showing at noon, but just as i was getting out of the shower at 11am, the agent was calling saying she was here! she gave me 10 minutes to wipe up the bathroom and get out of here, but it threw me off a little bit.

once i came home and had a chance to finish cleaning up, i took a drive in the convertible with the top down. it was a beautiful day, so i finally found del dios highway for a drive through escondido and rancho santa fe, and then headed to the mall.

for years i've been admiring issey miyake's l'eau d'issey...so i finally splurged and bought myself a litle bottle. i felt very extravagent making such an indulgent purchase, but the truth is, we can finally afford a little splurge like this every now and then. i justify it by saying that it isn't going to last forever, so i might as well enjoy it while it lasts. and i've been enjoying sniffing my wrists all afternoon and evening.

back at home i did a load of laundry while i read marilyn manson's autobiography. he's a really interesting guy. as evil as so many people perceive him to be, he's still just a guy doing the best he can. and i enjoy and even own some of his music.

well, i'm in bed playing on the internet and watching law and order:svu. i've got to rest up for wine tasting tomorrow.
