yeah...i haven't been around much. i've been too busy living my life!

trips and a wedding and crazy work and fixing up the house.

i'm feeling motivated to write again, though. you want to know why?

jeff and i are on track to have a baby in january!

at this stage in the game, all i can really say is that it is completely thrilling and totally weird. it's been a very easy pregnancy, so far. so easy, that if i wasn't particularly observant, i could probably be on an i didn't know i was almost 4 months pregnant! show on tv, if such a tv show existed.

but i am. we've seen the ultrasounds and last week i heard the heart beating away!

since i do actually know that i'm pregnant, i'm aware of things like getting random headaches and occasional heartburn. i had the first bloody nose of my entire life on saturday while we were out driving around. i am trying to be very careful about sticking to a good diet and taking my vitamins. i am also aware that i get REALLY hot in the sun and really thirsty in the heat.

no morning sickness, though. no weird food aversions (other than stinky old garlic for about 3 days). no particular cravings, either. although, i am currently waiting for some aftershave to be exorcised from our sofa so we can head out and get Mongolian bbq. :)

i'm sure i'll have all sorts of boring pregnant lady stories coming up in the future.
