t h e d u d e w a s i n

it's been a busy past few weeks. we had a really awesome time in kentucky for the annual lebowski fest.

pictures to come, but we were able to actually do some site-seeing while we were out: louisville slugger museum, some breweries, the longest go-kart track in the usa, the maker's mark distillery, an awesome flea market, the falls of the ohio, the science museum.

and of course, experienced the excitement that is lebowskifest.

the worst part of the trip was eating white castle burgers. bleh. and the weather was pretty nasty, too.

greg took us on a snorkeling/catch & release fishing adventure last weekend. we saw all sorts of sea critters: common and bottlenose dolphin, blue whales, black jellies, all sorts of strange and wonderful fish.

The boat ride was a little bumpy. Ok...VERY bumpy. We didn't make it back to the dock until 10pm, 2 hours late because of the crazy water. But the long boat ride gave us the opportunity to see some cool lightening off in the distance.

with jeff in chicago, i headed to up to my parents' place for some fun and relaxation. went to a bday party of an old friend last night and went to my grandpa's 85th bday party today.

so...yeah.
